Dawn graduated from massage therapy school in Columbus, Ohio at Central Ohio School of Massage in September of 1995. She then received her license to practice from the State Medical Board of Ohio in January 1996 and has owned and operated her private practice ever since in addition to working with Columbus area chiropractors. In addition to her massage license she graduated college in August 1991 with an associate degree in Business Management from Sinclair Community College.

Dawn’s primary focus is clinical rehabilitative massage although she is well versed in relaxation work and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage. Her most recent area of study has been massage for people living with cancer. It is her honor and privilege to help improve the health of the people in her community by providing therapeutic massage services.

Swedish Massage… Light to medium pressure is used to focus on relieving mental, emotional and physical fatigue and tension in the superficial tissues of the whole body. It is so relaxing you could fall asleep.

Swedish Massage Rates: 60 minutes… $70, Four (4) 60 minute sessions… $266

Clinical Massage… Does not include the whole body in a 60 minute session. More pressure is used on the specific areas where there may be chronic pain or tightness, and a deeper tissue level is usually reached, which helps to quicken recovery time.  A combination of Swedish, Trigger Point, Neuromuscular, and Shiatsu techniques are used in this massage.  It is not as sedative as a Swedish massage, however extremely beneficial.

Clinical Massage Rates: 60 minutes… $80, Four (4) 60 minute sessions… $304

Lomi Lomi Massage… Hawaiian Lomi Lomi is a 90 minute full body massage using long fluid strokes with the forearms, palms, knuckles and thumbs to connect the mind, body and spirit. This massage includes some deep tissue work and stretching.  Some people describe this experience as feeling like waves washing over the body.

Lomi Lomi Massage Rates: 90 minutes… $100, Four (4) 90 minute sessions… $380
